Top 5 Water Gadgets in 2019

We’re big gadget lovers here at Active Water Coolers HQ. After coming across a few water related gizmos online we started to look to see what else was available. To clarify, when we refer to ‘water related’ gadgets, this is anything at all that relies on water for it to function.

Here is our Top 5 Water Gadgets of 2019:-

Inflatable Bath Tub – From £16.99 – £200.00

top 5 water gadgets of 2019We’re not sure when this product first came out but various versions seem to be available across the internet. It is literally what it says on the tin – an inflatable bath! How cool would it be just having one of these in the garden during summer time? You could even have 2 or 3 of them hanging around catering for several party people at once! Furthermore, you could fill it with ice to store your beer! Overall, we think this is a great idea, particularly for summer parties or just relaxing when the kids have gone out for the night! According to most online shops you can inflate these baths within 5 minutes and they can take hot water up to around 35˚C.

Super Long Hot Water Bottle – £14.99 +

I realise that as Ive got older I have started to appreciate ‘warm’ things. Im not actually a hot water bottle fan, however, the wife would certainly see this as probably the greatest invention on the planet. In fact, we wondered how this isn’t already a very popular idea, after all, hot water bottles have been the same size for as long as I can remember. For around £14 you can pick up one of these super long hot water bottles that you could wrap yourself around while watching your favourite episode of Last of the Summer Wine. The only thing we’re not sure about is how much hot water you would need to fill it! Well, I’m going to find out because Ive already ordered one for the missus. That’s a million browny points in the bag! 🙂

Transparent Canoe – £1000 +

Does it get anymore genius than this? This would be enough for me to start canoeing down my local river! My local river is the same colour as chocolate but that isn’t going to stop me!

So, it may only be for those fortunate enough to be able to bath in the waters of Paradise but even still, very cool indeed!

This canoe/kayak is available as a one or two person design and literally transforms your experience.

The big downside is the price! The cheapest we could find was around £1000! Then again, if you live in Paradise this will probably be a drop in the ocean (LOL:)

The Worlds most Powerful Water Pistol – $2150.00

What do you mean $2150 is way too much for a water pistol! Just look at this thing? ITS AWESOME!!

Ok, so we thought we would throw in a bit of a ‘if money was no object’ item. It may be slightly expensive but this water pistol has broken the world record for being able to spray up to water over 40 feet! Furthermore, the water is stored inside 2 oxygen style tanks that strap to your back. This means you can also pretend to be a Ghostbuster at the same time!!!!

Full respect to Alex Begrave, an engineer in London who built this from scratch! We need more things like this – just a bit cheaper!

Water Pebble – £9.99

We are all for saving water here at Active Water Coolers! This cheap gadget is a simple piece of technology that measures how much water you use when you shower! You place it above the plughole and its clever sensors will calculate at what stage you should stop showering to preserve water! We’re not sure if this is a game-changer but it’s nice to see technology being used in an attempt to save the amount of water we use. The manufactures state that it can save a third of the water you would normally use. Certainly a great way of teaching your children about the preservation of water and also keeping us adults conscious of how we should be making the same effort!
