Yes. If you rent a water cooler from Active Water Coolers, installation is included free of charge. Our trained engineers will set up your machine, connect it to your mains water supply (if applicable), and ensure everything is working perfectly.
If you purchase a machine, installation is not included as standard. However, we offer a professional installation service by an Active Water Coolers engineer as an optional extra when purchasing your chosen machine.
Can I install a water cooler myself?
Yes, you can. Most of our bottled water coolers are very straightforward to set up and don’t require specialist skills. For mains-fed (plumbed-in) machines, if installing yourself, we strongly recommend using a qualified plumber. Alternatively, you can purchase the required DIY installation kit when adding your chosen water dispenser to your basket.

How long does installation take?
Most installations take around 30–60 minutes depending on the type of machine and your site’s plumbing setup. Complex installations may take a little longer, but we’ll advise you in advance if extra time is needed.
Do you need access to my plumbing or electrics?
Yes. For mains-fed water coolers, we’ll need access to a nearby mains water connection and a standard 13A power socket. If you’re unsure whether your site is suitable, our team can advise before installation.
Bottled water coolers only require a mains power socket.
Can you install coolers anywhere in the UK?
We currently cover the north and south of England. If you’re unsure whether we cover your location, just get in touch and we’ll confirm that your area is within our servicing area.
Is servicing included after installation?
Yes, if you rent a cooler, servicing and filter changes are included as part of your rental plan. If you buy a cooler, you can either maintain it yourself or take advantage of our service packages, which include regular sanitisation, filter changes, and call-out support.
