General FAQ's
Yes. We have headquarters in both the North and South of England.
A mains-fed water cooler (also called a plumbed-in cooler) is a type of water dispenser that’s connected directly to your building’s mains water supply. Both table top (counter top) and floor standing models can be connected to the mains.
We provide. both bottled and mains fed water coolers across the North and South of England.
We supply floor standing, countertop, under-counter, and integrated tap systems. Choose from chilled, ambient, hot, or sparkling options or combinations of all four.
Bottled water coolers use large replaceable water bottles, while mains-fed (plumbed-in) systems connect directly to your water supply.

BOTTLED VS MAINS FEDYes. All mains-fed coolers include high quality filtration to remove impurities and improve taste. Each machine is fitted with specific filters that should be replaced every 6 months. When renting any of our water dispensers, you will benefit from free filter replacement and servicing.
If looking to rent or buy a bottled water cooler, our English spring water comes from protected sources in the North and South of England and is approved by the British Water Cooler Association (BWCA).

Delivery & Installation
We deliver and install our water dispensers across the North and South of England.
Any purchases that total £150 or more are eligible for FREE NEXT DAY DELIVERY. To ensure your item does arrive the following day we recommend that you place your order before 12pm.
When renting any of our Water coolers, boilers or fountains our engineer will bring your machine on the installation day. Therefore there will be no delivery cost to you. Any orders that total under £150 will be charged a standard delivery cost of £15.00

Renting a water cooler? Installation is free and carried out by a qualified Active Water Coolers engineer.

Purchasing? Installation is not included as standard when choosing to purchase a machine from our online shop, but we offer professional installation as an optional extra.
Customers may install purchased units themselves, but we strongly recommend using a qualified plumber for mains-fed systems.
The time it takes for an Active Water Coolers engineer to install and connect to the mains water supply varies greatly. However, on average you can expect your water cooler to be installed within 1 hour. If your machine is not close to the mains water supply then further time will be needed to ensure safe and professional connection.
Installation is completely free when renting any of our water coolers. water boilers, EZYTAPS or water fountains.
If choosing to purchase, instead of renting, you can opt to have an Active Water Coolers engineer to install your machine from £170, depending on the type of water dispenser you have purchased.
Yes. We frequently install coolers across multiple floors or buildings in one visit. Simply let us know how many units you require and we can plan accordingly.
We may need to drill small access holes for pipework or secure brackets for stability. Under counter units will require a hole to be drilled in the worktop where the tap will be installed. We always discuss this with you first though so you are fully aware of the work we need to carry out. A full assessment will be undertaken by our engineers prior to installation.
Yes. As long as we have safe access to the water mains, we can install coolers on any level of your building.
Ideally, we need somebody on site with authority to approve placement and access prior to installation. If this is not possible then we can arrange a different contact or key holder if authorised in advance.
When opting to buy or rent a bottled water cooler, installation is very straightforward. You’ll simply need to plug your water dispenser into a plug socket to power it up, insert the water bottle into the top of the machine, and you’re good to go!

Your first step is to simply contact us via email or phone. We use our 25 years experience within the water cooler industry to help you choose the perfect water dispenser for your requirements.
Once you’re happy with your chosen machine and agreed on a date for us to install your machine, we email over a contract for you to sign. Once this is done you can sit back and let us do the rest.
CONTACT USOur rental contracts are for a minimum of 12 months.
You can rent a water cooler from us for as little as 69p a day, depending on what machine you decide to rent. You can get a no obligation quote by simply contacting us for a no pressure chat!
Don’t forget, unlike other water cooler providers, we will pick up the phone when you ring and provide consistent customer service throughout your rental period with us.
get a free quoteAbsolutely! We have compact, affordable units ideal for smaller spaces. Renting is a great way to provide fresh filtered water without a large upfront cost, even for smaller teams.
Let us know in advance and we’ll relocate your water cooler to your new premises. A relocation fee may apply depending on distance and plumbing access.
All rental units are fully covered for breakdowns, faults, and parts throughout your agreement. You’ll never have to worry about water cooler repair costs or breakdowns!
Servicing & Maintenance
Yes. A full service of your water dispenser is required every 6 months. Our servicing plans are totally free when renting any of our machines and can also be added as an optional extra when purchasing.
Serving plansWater cooler filters should be replaced every 6 months. Filter replacement is included when renting any of our water dispensers.
When renting any of our machines you will receive free parts replacement if needed. If your water dispenser develops any permanent problems then a full replacement of your machine will be honoured at no extra expense to you.
Yes. All of our coolers, boilers, taps and fountains come with a 12 month compressor warranty.
Don’t forget! – Renting any of our machines will include free parts replacements if needed. Furthermore, if in the unlikely event your machine is no longer functional, we will provide a new machine at no extra cost to you.
All servicing is completed by our in-house, trained and qualified engineers, ensuring your system remains compliant, hygienic, and in full working order.
Simply contact us and we’ll arrange a call-out visit. Most issues can be fixed on-site, but if not, we’ll provide a like for like replacement unit at no extra cost for rental customers.
Not always, but we recommend someone be available to grant access and confirm any site-specific safety.
Most service visits take around 20 – 30 minutes, depending on the cooler type and location.
Yes, filter replacement is included as part of our 6 month service plan visits for rental customers.
If opting to purchase any of our water dispensers, you will have the option to sign up for our servicing plan. Simply choose the relevant drop down before adding your water cooler to basket.
Switching Current Provider

CONTACT USIf you’re looking to cancel your rental agreement with your current provider, you may have to pay an early contract termination fee. However, your current provider should confirm this with you. Unfortunately we are not able to cancel your contract on your behalf. However, we can advise you on your options when getting in touch with us to make the whole switch over process as smooth and as hassle free as possible.
