Installation

Our engineers take care of the whole process from start to finish leaving you with absolute piece of mind that it’s all taken care of. No money will be charged until you are 100% happy with your water cooler and the way it was installed.

Active Water Coolers use only the best materials, water coolers and filters available on the market and are all WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) approved.

All pipework used is John Guest and because it is microbore pipe this provides us with a water line without any joints, giving us a secure waterline from the connection to the water cooler. We only use 15mm plumbers compression fittings on your pipework, meaning anything installed can easily be made good should you need to relocate and take your cooler with you.

Finally every water cooler is fitted with a leak detector so that in the unlikely event of a leak the water feed will be isolated, protecting your premises from water damage.

Maintenance

It is a common occurrence that water coolers are bought and installed but never cleaned, maintained, sanitised or ever had a change of filter. Because of this, the water cooler or boilers’ life expectancy can be vastly reduced.

Without a doubt the machine will begin to fail sooner rather than later, which can lead to repair costs that could have been easily avoided – not to mention the hygiene implications.

With this in mind, Active Water Coolers have created the ‘Premier Water Service Contract’ to cover the maintenance of any existing water coolers you may already have on site. This means any existing drinking water cooler or boiler on your premises (along with any new machines provided by us), are all maintained under one simple support contract.

Working to BS 6700 – Specification for design, installation, testing and maintenance of services supplying water for domestic use within buildings and their curtilages, HSE L8 – ‘The Control of Legionnaires Disease’ and the EDWCA ‘Code of Practice’,  your water coolers are safe in our hands.
